EXPLORE THE REGION

Visit one of the many Mayan archaeological sites that surround Hacienda Petac. Uxmal is the closest large-scale site in the Puuc region but visitors also enjoy taking the day trip to Chichen Itza.

Swim in the underwater caves of the Yucatán known as cenotes. Dozens surround the Hacienda that tourists often visit, but there are several hidden cenotes that our guide can lead you to.

Take a trip into town and see what Mérida has to offer. Experience the culture of the Yucatán when you visit its museums, mansions of the Paseo de Montejo and the colorful dances in the square.

West of the Hacienda is the village of Celestun. Good for a beach day, it is even better for a boat trip to the colonies of flamingos that can be found along the river, springs and beaches

Hacienda Petac will arrange for a private car and guide service for outside explorations.
